Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art
Professionally accredited by the American Alliance of Museums, the Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art is located on campus and includes approximately 2,000 works of art. With pieces ranging from traditional to contemporary in style, the museum consists of seven changing galleries, an auditorium, a gift shop, a café, and multiple walking paths.
Goodwin Music Building
The Goodwin Music Building features performances by the Auburn University Symphonic Band, the Auburn University Chamber Choir, and the Auburn University Community Orchestra. From the Jazz Ensemble to the Indian Music Ensemble, the space provides students with a space to express their musical talents and passions.
All Auburn, All Steinway
In a campaign for musical excellence, Auburn University seeks to become an “All Steinway School,” where students and faculty will train and work on Steinway pianos exclusively. A musically enriching campus, the award-winning Telfair B. Peet Theatre features the Radio Flyer Theatre Company and provides students with undergraduate theater training.
School Spirit & Clubs
True to its name, this full-week event officially welcomes new and returning students to Auburn University. Coordinated by the Auburn University Program Council, this event encourages students get to know each other throughout fun events, while also acclimating to campus life.
Family Fridays is a campus-wide activity to unite the Auburn community and build new friendships among Auburn’s more than 29,000 students. The Student Government Association collaborates with different campus organizations to unite students from different backgrounds, for an evening of games and music.
