Auburn Global December Events Recap

Many people claim December to be the busiest month of the year. With the impending holidays, people traveling to visit their families, students studying for finals while some graduate, and the year coming to a close….this sentiment seems to be true!

This December has had a lot to offer Auburn Global students. Here is a recap of what has happened so far.

Student of the Month:

Shijiao (Doris) Liu’s determination to her academics and her interest in integrating herself in new cultures and activities were just a few reasons why she earned Student of the Month. Auburn Global presented her with a gift card as well as an official certificate of excellence on December 4th. Congratulations, Doris!

Ugly Christmas Sweater Party:

A holiday-time tradition that has become very popular over the years is an Ugly Christmas Sweater Party. The purpose of this party is to have the most creative and the tackiest sweater possible! Students were encouraged to enjoy some free treats and come celebrate the holiday cheer.  Take a look at how the Auburn Global staff celebrated this holiday tradition.

Fall 2019 Graduation:

Many Auburn Global students earned their degrees on December 14th, 2019. The week before, students had the opportunity to have their pictures taken at some of Auburn’s most famous spots. We were also glad to be able to capture the moment they crossed the stage. Take a look below!

Now that the semester has ended and students are returning home for the holidays, Auburn Global looks forward to a new year of opportunity and prosperity. We wish everyone a joyous time this holiday season and many blessings in the New Year. War Eagle!
