An Auburn Global Thanksgiving
Thanksgiving is traditionally about family, giving back to those in need, and being thankful.
As members of the Auburn Family, Thanksgivings means more than standard tradition because our tradition and family extend beyond those related to us. The Auburn Family is made up of every man, woman, and child who believes in Auburn and loves it. This year we encouraged our students to give back to those in need by living by the Auburn Creed’s words: “I believe in the human touch, which cultivates sympathy with my fellow men and mutual helpfulness and brings happiness for all.” During the Thanksgiving season, we remember to be thankful for all we have, but beyond than that, we remember to be thankful for those who helped us achieve it. And at Auburn Global, we are thankful for YOU, our students!
Helping you to make your dreams come true is our privilege. So to our students, thank you for choosing Auburn and for joining the Auburn Family.
This month, we wanted to show our student’s what it’s like to have an American Thanksgiving. Here are some examples of the things students did this holiday season.
Students gave back to the community by going to the Lee County Boys and Girls Club and helped serve food and spent time playing and socializing with the children.
Students also gathered together for Fall Feast, a meal organized by Auburn Student Government Association (SGA) and International Student Organization (ISO) to give a Thanksgiving meal to all who stayed behind for the holiday break and to all who wanted to spend time with their Auburn Family.
Our student services team came to show their support!
Wherever you are, we offer many Thanksgiving blessings to you and your family! War Eagle!
